REGENERGY

  RK Energy's REGENERGY System -  Captures and stores what has traditionally been a waste product, kinetic electric motor braking on variable speed drive applications.  The energy is stored and recycled directly back to the motor load.   

 REGENERGY - Recycles this otherwise wasted energy, traditionally burned off as waste heat on dynamic braking resistors, power consumption and peak motor loads are reduced. By lowering power consumption and the peak motor loads, utilities and their consumers come closer to achieving long term Carbon Neutrality initiatives and improve ESG ratings.

RKE’s “REGENERGY” solution recycles kinetic electric motor braking by capturing the kinetic braking energy and recycling the energy back during normal operation, this method reduces the energy consumption (kWh)  and the peak demand (kW).  

Unlike Active front end AC regen drives this system reduces the overall Peak Demand and electric consumption loads from the electric grid or generator.  This is accomplished without having the energy pushed back out over the grid which result is tremendous line loss.
