RKE’s “REGENERGY” solution recycles kinetic electric motor braking by capturing the kinetic braking energy and recycling the energy back during normal operation, this method reduces the energy consumption (kWh) and the peak demand (kW).
Unlike Active front end AC regen drives this system reduces the overall Peak Demand and electric consumption loads from the electric grid or generator. This is accomplished without having the energy pushed back out over the grid which result is tremendous line loss.
